Terms of Service
By using trailheadccr.com — browsing, signing in, or entering a class code — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Trailhead.
1. What Trailhead is (and isn't)
Trailhead is a career-exploration tool for high-school students and the people who support them: career information, AI-guided conversations, day-in-the-life simulations, mock interviews, and related features. Everything on Trailhead is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not professional, financial, legal, or career advice. Wage figures, employment outlooks, and pathways are estimates built from public data sources; they may not fit your situation and should never be the sole basis for any decision.
Simulation reads, interview feedback, and skill reflections are formative — they exist to help students grow, never to grade, rank, or gate anyone. They are not assessments of record.
2. Who may use Trailhead
Trailhead is intended for people age 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Students under 18 should use Trailhead with the knowledge of a parent, guardian, or school. If you use Trailhead through a school-issued class code, your school authorizes that use.
3. AI-generated content
Much of Trailhead is generated by AI in real time — guide conversations, simulations, interview feedback. AI content can be imperfect, incomplete, or wrong. We work to keep it honest and grounded in real data, but you should treat it as a starting point for exploration, not a definitive answer. Verify anything important before relying on it.
4. Accounts, codes, and your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when you create an account.
- Keep your sign-in email and any class code to yourself — a class code works like a password.
- Counselors and educators: you're responsible for how codes you create are distributed, and for keeping your own roster of which student holds which code. Don't send us student names.
- We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or threatens the service or its users.
5. Acceptable use
Don't: abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service; scrape or bulk-extract content or data; use automated tools to access the AI features; attempt to reverse-engineer non-public parts of the service; resell or redistribute access; use Trailhead for anything unlawful; or attempt to identify individuals from any data. We enforce rate and usage limits to keep the service available and affordable for everyone.
6. Paid plans and billing
Some features may require a paid plan. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the paid period. Usage-based features carry fair-use allowances. If a price changes, we'll tell you before it affects you. For billing questions or refund requests, contact us — we aim to be fair and human about it.
Outside courses, credentials, and referral links. Trailhead points you to courses, certifications, training programs, and experiences run by other organizations. We don't run them, we don't set their prices, and you deal with them directly. Some of those links may be referral links: if you buy something from that provider after following one, Trailhead may earn a fee from the provider at no extra cost to you. This never affects what we recommend or the order we recommend it in. Options are chosen and ordered by how well they fit you — never by price, and never by whether we earn a fee. Free options are never hidden to favor paid ones.
7. Schools
Where a school, district, or supervisory union has signed a data-privacy agreement with us, that agreement governs student data and takes precedence over anything inconsistent here. Class codes are issued through a counselor's or educator's account under the school's authority.
8. Your content and ours
Trailhead's design, text, code, and branding belong to FLEXVermont LLC. Public data (BLS, O*NET, state projections) belongs to its publishers and is credited on the site. What you type into Trailhead is yours; you give us permission to process it to provide the service. Anonymous, de-identified usage data is used to improve the product.
9. Disclaimers
Trailhead is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Links to third-party sites (O*NET, CareerOneStop, MyFutureVT, and others) are provided for convenience; we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FLEXVermont LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Trailhead is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including decisions made in reliance on career information or AI-generated content.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so plainly on the site with a new effective date. Continuing to use Trailhead after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Vermont.
